Expiration Dates - Do they really matter???

I was going to be nice but I'm really not sure I can do that without relaying all the details.. I'm sure I'll be forgiven right Heather????

Well, Matt told me the other day my tab's were expired and I forgot to check..

(Thinking to myself... no biggie what's a few days??)

So the kind officer asks to see her license / registration / and proof of insurance - she's all cool and collective, hands him the license , grabs the insurance card and asks me to get in the glove box as for the registration should be in there. No problem, I reach for it and hand it to her & she is starting to get a little nervous when she says , "Oh no not that one, that's tooooooo old"... As the nice, respectful policeofficer reaches in and says "Nope that's the right one, your tabs have been expired since..............SEPTEMBER...........
I honestly tried to hold my laugh in but... SEPTEMBER???? So than he proceeds to go to his car and call in the information.. Of course while he's away I'm sitting there all quiet not saying a word ... NOT!!!! I'm laughing so hard.. wanting a Kodak moment & she is begging me not to try and take his pic with my phone... He returns with her information & then keeping a straight face , tells her " No Worries mam, you've purchased your tabs, you must have just have forgot to put them on... She is starting to stammer a little with the apologies..I being the good friend says nothing.... NOT!!! I'm literally busting up.. I can't quit laughing...So as she is trying to wiggle her way out .. He tells her "When you get home.. check on your counter, you may have stacked them under something, stuck a basket but if you can't find them , you need to get in and get those purchased AGAIN.... *lol* So after the nice gentleman heads back to his car.. she looks and me and says... Go home and check on my counter?? Does he really think that I haven't cleaned my counter since SEPTEMBER!!!!!!
Oh my..... I'm sorry.. .I'm literally cracking up..
I than had to rub in just a little that back in January - Fencepost Tom had told both me and Lola that ours had expired (we had them just hadn't put on cuz it was to cold for them to stick )...
Oh Heather .. this day will go down in another one of our famous lunch escipades.

Happy Birthday Ardis!!!

Today is Jeff's Mom's birthday.... I just want to wish her a very Happy Birthday & let her know how glad I am that she is a part of my life.... I'm so glad that we can still be close!! This is what I made her... I really like it but I'm going to change the F to a really big F (Thanks Heather!!)

Forty, Fat & Out of Shape.. But Not For Long!!!

Well, I bit the bullet & I bought this....

So afterdinner, me and the boys jump on our bikes and head off.. Oh my goodness... It's been 20 yrs at least since I've been on one.. We make it a couple miles to my mom's. Take a water break and head home.. By the time we were rounding the corner to the house.. my thighs were burning sooooo bad!!! But I made it.. we probably rode 4-5 miles... They had a blast and so did I... BUTT that seat is sooooooooooo uncomfortable just ask me :)

Last Soccer Game!!

Today was Elijah's last soccer game... Soccer is his sport. He absolutely loves it . One thing about Elijah is - His shoes are never tied. It doesn't matter what type of shoe he is wearing, they are never tied. One of the parents made a comment about him going to trip and fall on his strings and my reply was "He wouldn't be able to play if they were tied". Right after that comment he scored a goal - untied laces and all... *lol*

We are not playing Tball / Baseball this spring. I can honestly say this will be the first spring that I have not attended Tball / Baseball / Softball since Eric was 5.. That's a long time, but we will so enjoy coming home being able to bbq, ride bikes and enjoy the spring.

MY NEW COOL BLUE BAG!!

Heather has been sportin' this new bag. It has pockets on the inside to hold things. Nice long handles so you can carry it on your shoulder. It's washable.. and guess what I now have one too!!! I absolutely love it. Her's is light, spring colors & mine is BLUE!!!

The inside is this cool red material with this excericising pigs.. It is the best!!!

Thanks, Darlene!!!!! It was a great surprise & I don't have to be jealous anymore :)

Kids Say The Darndest Things...

Adrian had just gotten out of the bath. The commercial for Extenze Male Enhencement was on.
He comes out of the bathroom, sits down & looks at me and says "Mom, can you get me some of those Extenze pills.".. My mouth dropped open and said "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?" He than said "Mom , I want you to get me some of those Extenze pills..?" so I asked him WHY? He says well they will help me grow taller & I politely told him they were for men and he assured me that age didn't matter (quoting the commercial)... I'm still laughing!!!!

Personal Trainer Needed!!!

I found a new game for the Wii - It's called Wii Cardio.. It had boxing & I thought jumprope but anyways for $30.00. I thought that it might get me motivated on this biggest loser. So I got it. Yesterday evening I only played on it for a few because both boys were wanting to try. I noticed Elijah had actually got past the lessons and found the workout sessions. It was so cool. So tonight, I told them I was going to do it. Well, not many of you might know this *lol* I'm not coordinated at all .. I cannot move my hands and feet at same time & I'm not kidding. So I'm out there rocking to back and forth to the beat of the music.. and then you throw a punch when it tells you to and then you either duck to the right, the left or , squat. So obviously I wasn't doing it right because he comes up behind me , grabs on to my hips and says "Here mom, let me help you out." He starts guiding my hips.. I thought I was going to die laughing.. so he's rocking me back and forth and then says duck right... duck right.. duck left... squat mom.. Mom you were supposed to squat.. *lol*

Scott Update.....

Well, I was pretty suprised on Monday when I got a phone call from Scott and he was headed for surgery #6. He has one spot that the skin doesn't want to attach. It was apx 1/2 inch on the top surface but 3 inch on the inside. So they went back in, opened it up, cleaned it up and reattached it. Hopefully it will start healing together. The surgery went well today. I wasn't able to go , work is crazy & Elijah had been sick ( Scott can't afford to get anything else) so I stayed away. He will be in there at least 2 weeks if not more... Please keep him in your prayers :)

BMX - Bike Track

The boys have been wanting to go to the BMX bike track in Moses Lake. Nick came down to visit, so we loaded up the bikes, the kids, and the obnoxious dog and headed for the track. After being there I know we need to get some safety gear. The ground is extremely hard (ask Elijah). But it is a very nice track and the best part was it's free !!!!
