And how did your day begin????

You will find this blog fitting after all of us having such a wonderful Mother's Day..

8:26 A.m. - My cell rings - the conversation follows:

Hi Darla, this is Tara, the boys bus driver...

Heavy sigh on my part... "Oh no.. what happened".

Well .... (long pause).... Elijah is okay but we had a problem this morning on the bus...

(I'm thinking oh great... Who did he tick off enough to thump on him - the mother bear is thinking .. the other kid better watch out - no one messes with my kid *lol*)...

Well, Adrian and Elijah were playing I Spy , all was well, and then Elijah guessed it & Adrian got

mad & took Elijah's head and pushed him into the window.... What???? ( I'm thinking -It was my kid against my kid ... aghhh *lol*).. Elijah has quite a bump but he was okay.. no broken skin, no blood but I'm sure there will be a big knot....

As for Adrian.. I scolded him pretty bad & scared him... I told him I was going to call you...

I then say " I hope you threatened to kick him off the bus because I will be sure to reenerate it tonight". She assures me he knows that if she writes him up he will be kicked off...

I politely apologize & tell her thank you for letting me know....

Now isn't that called "Brotherly Love".

And You Think Texting and Driving is Dangerous!!!

We headed to Tricities to the boat & r.v. show. Boredom had sat in . So we each popped in 2 pieces of bubble gum and decided to have a bubble blowing contest. I quickly found that trying to take pictures of the boys in the backseat while driving is actually more dangerous than texting and driving. *lol* I quickly turned the camera over. We had a blast seeing who could blow the biggest bubble...
Here's the proof:

On the way home we did this :)

The boys each got a pinewood derby car that they needed to put together including painting.
Here's the outcome :

The outcome of the day was this:
Nick & I are proud owners of this tent trailor ,
Memorial Weekend will be our first outing

For Those of You That Know Me.....

For those of you that know me.... Know, I don't have any green plants in my house. Know that I absolutely dislike yard work. Know that if & when I have had plants, it's rare that they live.
Thanks to Annette Grandma (my fern) is much alive & living on her mantel in her living room. Grandma was on her death bed when I moved & Annette graciously took her in...
Well you will never believe this :
And yes by the pics it looks like Nick & Elijah did all the work and I want you to know I helped..
I carried brick, I put down bark, and I even dug wholes and placed plants...
And who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks!!!!

The final outcome!!!! (After 2 weeks they are still alive).... Love it...
