Last night Paul and I took a cruise around the lake - it was absolutely beautiful ....

It's been 19 yrs since we said goodbye - not a day goes bye I don't miss you - Love you dad!!

Seaside or Bust....

on Friday we all gathered after work for a quick bbq and to get out plans in order - Jenn , D, and kids stayed at our house that night. Christie, Amanda and kids would be over around 6:00 am and then we'd be off . Eric, Kandice and Lindsey, weren't able to go this time - maybe next year ... My little mini me didn't let me out of her site on Friday - she climbed up on my lap and within minutes she was sound asleep and snoring lol .. We were off to bed 4:30 comes early ..

Paula and I were up at about 4:30 - making breakfast tacos, cinnamon rolls and getting juice ready so we could head out ..

Mt. Rainer was absolutely beautiful ..

After several stops along the way for leg stretches and bathroom breaks we arrived about 1:30- the little kids were so excited to get to the beach the parents told the kids the beach didn't open until 2:00  -so we needed to grab lunch and then it would be open .  Well we went to  my favorite place to eat .. All 14 of us ranging from 3 to 54 in age - ordered from chicken strips to burgers to seafood!! The waitress did a fantastic. Job keeping up with us .

We played in the water, till our lips were blue, flew kites and made sand castles.  We had such an amazing time.  We headed back to our motels late evening and planned on meeting up around 8:30 for pizza - it was also amazing !!

The bomb fire got cancelled as the little ones were falling asleep while eating. We all agreed we just do our own thing on Sunday... We got up , got around and went for a long walk on the beach.  We had such a great time- just visiting , looking for sand dollars but no luck.  

It was absolutely beautiful.  We ran into Amamda, Christie and the kids.we went to the aquarium and papa bought food for the kids to feed to the sea lions ..

After the aquarium we decided to do a little shopping. We ended up running into Jenn, D and the kids .. We visited for a bit and then we split off . We were headed to lunch and then off to head home .  Although it was quick it was so worth it ... Yeah we spent 5 hrs in a car but how many people will spend  5 hrs in front of a tv .. Can't wait I'll next year :)

Paul's moms birthday is March 39- she was going to be in Spokane at his sister; Ilo's house on Saturday the 2nd but we had a family trip planned to Seaside.  I wanted to do something fun/ special since we couldn't be there.  I found a place in Spokane Valley that delivered cupcakes.. I ordered a dozen assorted cupcakes to be delivered on Satursay morning .  The place was called Celebrations- in Spokane Valley.  She was suprised / excited/ ad try loved them ...
