Put One Foot In Front of the Other......

Do you remember the song that was sung on Santa Claus is Coming To Town?

Put one foot in front of the other
And soon you’ll be walking cross the floor
Put one foot in front of the other
And soon you’ll be walking out the door
You never will get where you’re going
If you never get up on your feet
Come on, there’s a good tail wind blowing
A fast walking man is hard to beat
Put one foot in front of the other
And soon you’ll be walking cross the floor
Put one foot in front of the other
And soon you’ll be walking out the door

Well, that is how I'm f eeling right now... If I can do that I might just get thru not only this week , but next week, next month & survive till the wedding. I know many of you have survived the planning & execution of the wedding but I'm a little overwhelmed & at this point not sure if I will survive *lol*

Lists - I definately need to make not 1, not 2 but at least 3 lists..

This weeks list will include -

Calling Dolly for picture preference for Dave's 50th B-day Suprise Party that I was told to make - Need them completed by Wednesday ... hmmmm
Meeting with my favorite photographer to get engagement pics & hopefully the kids will like one of her save the dates she made just for them.
Call around to find the best deal on printing save the dates . -Hopefully mailing save the dates this week.
Call Bremerton Hotels to see what kind of a deal we can get for a block of rooms & hoping they will let us use one of their meeting rooms for a rehersal dinner and allow us to bring the food in.
Safety Inspections at work on Tuesday / Wednesday - I feel prepared for all 3 branches but you just never know
Allergist appointment with Adrian on Wednesday

Allergy shots for Adrian on Friday.

Leaving on Friday with Nick to Seattle for the weekend... This will be a first to leave the boys home & go out of town all alone... Wow!!! He called today & wants to go to the Crab Pot.. I gasped, you mean a trip with no Nuggets!!!

Wedding card for my cousins son's reception that I won't be here for.

Now that I've typed it I'm more overwhelmed *lol*

The other thing that has began to bug me & it usually hits me this time of year is change for the new school year. Things that I've been lagging behind in, try to make more of a priority..
Seriously we have a little more than a month and we start again.. I need to get things under control way before the year begins *lol*

Example : Brushing teeth at night too
Elijah reading to me for 15 min (Adrian always read)
Picking up the bathroom after showers - Why do I think they arent' capable??

My new motto will not only be put one foot in front of the other, it will be One day at a time!!!

I"m back!!!!!

I can't believe it's been over a month since I blogged... This could be part of the reason why...
1) Fathers Day - We spent the morning with Nick on Father's day & then he had to leave to get ready to leave on a trip

2) Allison turned 3. We celebrated her birthday on Father's Day.. It was rather cool & a tad drizzly but didn't stop us from bbqing & playing volleyball..

I love this pic. She was mad at her mom & had no problem expressing it *lol*

3) We went to Conconully for our annual camping trip. We were gone for 5 days. Nick, Kevin & Amanda weren't able to go . We missed them but the rest of us had a blast. Horeshoe tournaments, cribbage tournaments, lots of good food & lots of relaxin... It was a great time.

Last weekend we went to Kent, Washington. Saturday the kids spent the afternoon in the pool.

Sunday was the NHRA Drag races. Had a great time, boys were very restless & ready to go even before 1st round was finished... But still enjoyed the day..

Kurt Johnson - ProStock Driver (Elijah's favorite driver -look @ smile)

Jeg Coughlin - Prostock Driver - The nicest, most sincere guy out there...

Adrian wants this framed... HMMM I wander why *lol*

On Monday we got on the road and headed to Westport ... What a blast.. Thinking that we found the ocean & being very disgusted with this....

Nick and Elijah ventured off & they found this... ahhhhhh!!!!!

Adrian played on the boogie board, while Elijah played in the sand..

We walked around Westport, went to an Aquarium (don't do it *lol*), couldn't get the boys to go into the restraunt cuz they only had seafood (imagine that) and as we headed out of town rode the go - carts. It was a great day..

I can honestly say I had to go back to work to rest up....

Work has been extremely busy. Missing even a day here or there seems to put you behind immensely.

We've also been working on Wedding Plans... Right now all I can say is hmmmmm. Alyson took their engagement pics on Wednesday. As soon as I get them I will post.. This weekend Amanda's mom is headed this way. We are to sit down & go over the plans that they have made. Wish me luck :) I'm not used to this....
