Jeff Dunham

Jeff Dunham is my favorite comedian by far. I was so excited when I found out he was coming to Spokane... He is a ventriliquist. He has 5-6 different dummies that he performs with..Their names are Achmed, Peanut, Jalapeno on a stick, Bubba, Walter & AJ are the ones I saw perform. I spent this weekend with a friend in Spokane & was able to watch him. It was a great show & worth every penny spent on the tickets. I however, will say.. I didn't think it was appropriate material for little kids to be listening to but I guess the times have changed.

Elijah - High Game Scratch

Elijah received a trophy today for HIGH GAME SCRATCH in his league in bowling. He had bowled a 152.... Here's a picture of him and his bowling team mate Taylor. Taylor is very shy & withdrawn. Elijah has been such a good friend to him. Not only does he give him pointers on bowling but he has brought him out of his shell .. slowly but surely he's coming around.

Way to go Elijah!!

Grandma Day....

I've had Carson a few times in the past week. Oh what a kid. He is always so happy, funny, & what a busy body... He's either racing around in his walker... crawling from room to room at a fast rate of speed. He's such a perfect mix of Amanda and Kevin but oh how he never slows down reminds me so much of Kevin. Pardon the phrase "He's like a fart in a skillet" as my dad would say... I love his blue eyes, and his blonde hair as tint of red and what an infectious laugh he has.
I love you Carson James!!!

Well the crappy spring weather dampers the work we get completed at Wilbur Ellis. My hours this year are from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. I chose not to allow the boys to play sports because I had no way of getting them to practice, picked up and didn't feel I could go watch their games with all the changes we have taken on at work. Which also means that I can't sneak away very easy to watch Mazlin play soccer either. It broke my heart to tell her I probably won't be able to watch you play but I'll try.. She acted as if she understood but you could tell she was a little disappointed.

Well on Monday I had got bitten by the 24 hour crud ended up going home early.. Tuesday I was feeling better but the weather was nasty outside. The good thing was I got to get off at 5:00 so I could watch Mazlin play the bad thing was I shouldn't have been outside.

We arrrived at the field and they had already started playing.. I had yelled out a couple .. "GO MAZ" but she didn't hear me.. As a goal was scored .. I let out a "Way to go team" and she turned and saw me ... and bolted to me arms wide open... yelling "Grandma Darla"... Oh that moment was priceless!! However, her coach (DeAndre) turned and said Maz.. you have to get back in the game *lol*... I was so glad that I was able to watch at least one of her games. Afterwards I asked the girls to join us. We went to Taco Bell ,

had a bite to eat.. ran to Walmart.. and then off to Baskin Robbins for some icecream. We had a great time together.. Now Mckenzie had to stay home as her and Jenn had been under the weather. So after discussing it with the girls we decided Ice cream was what Kenzie needed to make her feel better. Here you tell me if you think it helped *lol*

Oh how I love spending time with the kids & grandkids. I just wish there were more hours in the day to spend with them..
