VENTING RAMPAGE

I'm literally so upset .. I can't type.... I'm sitting here shaking my head, wandering what makes people tick... where do you learn to be compassionate, grateful & etc...  where do we learn to be selfish, thoughtless and self centered...  I won't go into detail but I will say I'm going to marry the man of my dreams and whether you like me or not I don't care,  but you have no right to treat him like he doesn't matter, like he's an outsider like the rest of us.  You will lose..... you will lose out on the most loving, giving, family you have ever met .... you will miss out on the most loveable, helpful grandparents you could ever want and the most loving, giving parents... You may want to step back and take a look at what is out there - it's not going away but I guarantee if you continue to  push you will lose!!!

Weekend Catch up - Grandkids

 One of the main reason to switch jobs was so I could have more time with Grandkids... Well last week it paid off.... From the 19th of August to the 28th of August - we had every one of our grandchildren at one time or another - sometimes 2 - sometimes 3- sometimes 4.   I love it ... Lyndsey was overnight on Thursday as Kandice and Eric went to a Seahawk game !!!   She packed for a month.   This little critter had to be strapped in the front seat as the back seat was full of grandchildren critters - because if one finds out the other is over then they need to be there too and this Grandma doesn't know how to say No *lol*....

Carson started Kindergarten on Friday, Aug 26, 2016 - He was so excited.  Addie didn't want to let him go.   Kevin missed taking him with Amanda he had been gone since Sunday fighting the Hart Fire up by Davenport but... he got home Friday afternoon and surprised him by picking him up.   I love seeing my kids be parents, it melts my heart.

I was driving thru town and spotted Kevin... I got the first hug of his return...  So proud of him!!

As I type - Paul's daughter in law is in the hospital - bouncing on a ball - trying to get Greyson Paul to arrive just a little faster.... Granchild #10 is on the way....

I LOVE MY JOB!!!

I started a new job on July 25.   I went to work for a company called Wagner Seed .  They are located about 1 mile from Wilbur Ellis so the drive time is about the same.  Hardest decision I've ever made was to leave Wilbur Ellis but it has been the best decision ever.   Less hours, less stress - I miss the farmers and my co-workers, but I've also found that friendships I made with the farmers & the co-workers  have moved on with me and the ones that haven't I will eventually have to let go of even if it hurts.  I saw this quote the other day  and today when Tony (my new boss) told me how happy he was that I am here and hiring me was the best decision he has made in a long time it made me smile...




So here's to change and new adventures....  Wagner Seed -  Come see me !!! 

Today Warden had there first day of School.... The summer went crazy fast but being a working mom with 2 teenage boys staying at home alone - I'm pretty darn happy that school started :) Adrian is a SENIOR this year..... yep I said it a SENIOR... It's hard to believe it really has gone by fast. Elijah is in 8th grade... he informed me he would also be graduating this year and he is right. Next year will be high school... Man I'm getting old..I have had kids in Warden School District for 25 years... I'm sure there must be an award for that .... Well here are the first day of school pics...
