Merry Christmas To All!!!!

I'm definately a "Merry Christmas" type a gal not a "Happy Holidays" but I absolutely love Charlie Brown... So here you are !!  Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas.....

Christmas Eve - Part 1

As I was hurrying around trying to get the house cleaned Christmas Eve morning.. I heard Adrian calling me from outside & Elijah yelling..  I hurried to the back door & when I opened it.. Adrian said.. "Elijah hit his head"... I looked over and could see nothing but blood running down his face...  Of course your heart sinks but the mom instincts kick in and start putting pieces together.. Well we have this yellow slide in our back yard,  a 25 gallon white barrell, a 10 yr old child in side the barrell on top of the slide, and a 14 yr old that thought what the heck .... and gave him  a little nudge... aghh!!!

I had Jeff's dad look at it and he agreed he needed to see a doctor.   It looked as if it would heal but there was about 1/4 of an inch that kept gaping open.... So off to the clinic we go.  I called our doctor he was out so they said just to run to Walk-In... When I asked to see a physician they told me it would be 1 1/2 hour to a 2 hr wait.  I explained he had split his head open and was still bleeding.. They told us to take a seat... REALLY????   So I told them I'd be back and we walked up stairs to our Doctors office.. Kristina was working.. and when I told her the story she went back and asked and one of the other doctors agreed to see us.. We weren't there 5 mins. and they had us back... No stictches but some glue and he's all put back together..
Thank you Dr. Beubian for seeing us on short notice... Ped's rocks.. Walk-in you need to figure out how to prioritize.. cuz I think the man who had the cough... would still have the cough if he had to wait a few...

Nifty... Nifty... Look Who's 50!!!

My brother Scott turned 50 today... Hard to believe...  My mom held a "Suprise" Birthday for him at Chicos.. Lots of family & friends joined to wish him well..

So today was my lucky day..... Thank you Heather & Matt the kids are going to love it.... Thank you Rolando and Arnold ... Where would I be without my Wilbur Family !!!

Kujo ( my favorite dog)  had a rough night.. Thinking she had an upset stomach.. Normally sleeping with Eric / Vanessa  she opted my bed.   When I got up to shower she was at the foot of the bed.. This is what I came back to.

Good thing I love this pooch!!!!  *lol*

Student of the Month....

Elijah has been working very hard in school.... Today he received Student of the Month for IMPROVEMENT... It was well deserved.... Way to go Elijah!!

Wilbur Ellis Food Drive - Phase II

Wilbur Ellis and the PAWS parent group work together on this phase of our food drive.  Wilbur Ellis will provie a Pizza Party to the class that will bring in the most food in a 1 week period.   This year we included the Middle School & High School..   The Elementary kids bring in the most food by far.  They get so excited .. One class had all their cans hidden in a closet so no one could see or take their food.  The kids were helping us count and load onto our court..  I was so amazed .....   The total lbs that they donated was 1,980 lbs of food.  Thank you !!!   Thank you to the Wilbur Boys for helping me collect and drop off the food.   It's a team effort!!

The shelves were empty.   I took this pic as we had unloaded several boxes.  We are their biggest suppiers & are so  glad we can do this....  

Phase III will be right before Christmas... Some of the businesses we deal with are big donors... I love living in a small town community where everyone pulls together !!

First Grandma Weekend .....

Miss Mckenzie is such a hoot... they say she looks like me... and yeah I see  small resemblence but that morning when she woke up and looked like this... OH MY!!!  She looked just like me especially the hair *lol*

Apx. 36 adults .... 38 kids..... 1 one ton with hay in the back ..... a caravan of 10 cars......great weather,  2 cookers full of homemade chili, 72 hotdogs,  72 rolls, frito's, sour cream, cheese, grapes, chips, cookies, cupcakes,    and all these great pics and more.....  I would say a successful pumpkin patch trip!!!!

I Love Fall......
