Happy New Year !!!

Goodbye 2021 & Hello 2022 !!!!   We had the kids and grands over but not all the kids could make it.  It was a small crowd but a good time...  

SNOW DAY FINALLY!!!

 Today was an ordinary work day until it started to snow... not our typical snow fall we got dumped on and it was blowing and drifting had started - so Kandice & I left around 11:00 and made it home safe and soun . I'm one happy girl!!  I love the snow .... driving in it is has its challenges but I love watching it fall, I love shoveling.. its cool , crisp, peaceful and beautiful.  LET IT SNOW ... LET IT SNOW... LET IT SNOW!!!

Granddaughters......

 I know everyone says "I have the best ...." but I'm telling you I have the best granddaughters.  I try to text them here and there... sometimes life gets busy and it doesn't happen but I do try..  The other day I found this quote... I sent it to Mazlin, Milayah, Trin, and Linds.  I want them to know I'm there .. not just for bdays, or holidays all the time !!!   

Grandma Guess What !!!!!

 I got a call tonight - Grandma guess what??   We won the Championship!!!  So happy for this kid.  Covid did such a toll on her!! Can't wait to watch her play at state!!!

Family Fun

 We spent the evening over at my cousin, Steve's house.  We celebrated Tom and Joe's grandson, Ricardo's 2nd birthday.  It was a great evening seeing family, I haven't seen for a while.. 

LIndsey's Drama Performance

 Lindsey had her drama performance tonight but both Harper and Amberlee were under the weather.  I really wanted to watch her preform but I volunteered Grandma duty so both Eric and Kandice could go.  We watched cartoons and played Candy Land & No Fish ( Go fish) but Harper renamed it.  Kandice sent me some pics of Linds.  Sounds like she nailed all her parts !!! 

12 Days of Christmas .....

 I started 12 days of Christmas when Mazlin and Milaya were like 4 and 5.  I also had included Elijah and Adrian but they didn't like the little things, so they were quickly kicked off the island *lol*.  Well, it's switched to we and we now have 15 grandkids. Once they turn 18, they get booted into adult land *lol* but it never fails I end up with a few extra kids here and there.  This year I 13 grandkids and Sidney.  Sidney is Shalayne's niece.  She is a senior in high school and currently living with them so of course we include her.  So, this year the magic number is 14!! 

I always do Snowman Soup (fancy way to do hot chocolate) *lol*.. This year I tried something new.  Frustration was an understatement (how hard is it to dump 4 items in an ornament and layer it) Well for me harder than I thought *lol* Once I got a system figured out it was much easier *lol*  

I used 1 cup of cocoa - a layer of red / green/white sprinkles - 3 crushed candy canes and 15-12 mini marshmallows.  The tag I purchased off of Etsy - so much easier and time effective then me trying to design it *lol*
