Week in Review.....

When you have 13 grandkids and still have a kid at home in sports it's tough to make it to all their events.  So my rule is I will try to at least make 2 games of each but there are times it's just not possible so I was only able to make it to one basketball game for each of the older girls.
It was Milayah's turn.   I love watching her play ..both her and Mazlin are very athletic and a total joy to watch.   This girl goes to high school next year.  Where has the time gone???

I had the best weekend to be had in a long time.. My house  and life is full of craziness - and I wouldn't have it any other way but sometimes you end up losing yourself  in the midst of the mess and I have truly felt that I have been slipping away.. the things I love to do ...my close friendships... well long story short I've decided to work on getting me back.....
Annette and I had a girls / crafting weekend  at her house.. It was amazing ... I took Friday off  - got my hair cut - met her in Moses and we had Pedi's ...  then off to Jay's for lunch .... no trip is complete without a little bit of  spending  and then off to craft...  You could not ask for a better hostess,  a cozy atmosphere ... we laughed so hard we cried .. we made some of our meals and even had one catered - from the man next door *lol*, we watched a couple movies -  "Girls Trip" - It is absolutely hysterical but I don't recommend you watch it with any kids in the vicinity - it's bad but hysterical ... We also watched "Wander"  that is an amzing movie that all the family can enjoy.   We also made a pact to scrapbook one evening a week...  Oh how I've missed it and I've missed her..  We live right across the street and I see her less now then when we both worked at the crazy place.. Here's just a few pics...

My new favorite color

Terriyaki Chicken , Rice , Vegies

Happiest place on earth.....or at least for the weekend

Enjoying dinner and the company of the cat *lol*

Today was weigh in ...and I was yet excited but nervous... I've been trying so hard  - I've had so many NSV's as they say in weight watchers ( Non-Scale Victories) this week.   I can slide my engagement ring on and off without lotion or soap - my jeans fit up over my tummy and stay up most of the day  -  I can really notice in my face and my tummy ...  I finally made it out of the 2's and my next goal was to be down 15 lbs & I did it ... Today I was down another 2.2 lbs for a total of 15.2 lbs loss since the 8th of January...   Here are a few new items I found that I've added into my food that I absolutely love ...

SMUCKERS BLACKBERRY JAM  - 0 PT              HOMEMADE SALSA - O PTS
NABISCO CORN GOOD THINS - 17  for  1PT

FLAT OUT ITALIAN HERB - WHOLE THING 2 PT - 1/2  1 PT ..

Well we added a new machine to our workout room - Thanks Kevin for helping put it together .. I tell you I'd be lost without that boy!!!
This machine is for Paul but I will use it ... The bike and the machine from hell our my best friends right now :)

Well here's to another week .. next week will be full of adventure for us (I hope) we are heading to Spokane to spend time with Paul's siblings...  Have a good week !!!

They were tic tac toe boards and you used the different colored Valentine M&M's as the markers.. Super cute,
a little tideous for their little hands  and I thought Jenn was going to die laughing but yes they wore gloves to put the  M&M's in the bags ... *lol*...

Catch up post ....

It's been a crazy few weeks..... today's post is a catch up post.. so bare with me ....

Elijah finished up basketball -  I'm so glad he played this year and I'm so glad that he is doing on-line high school which allowed him to keep his grades up so he could play...

Thursday was official weigh in day.... I was pumped...  down another 1.4 lbs. For the month of January I was down a total of 7 lbs.   WW has a calander challenge - where you share your total loss. Amazing to see everyone's losses...

It's getting easier - not so frustrating - Weight Watchers has a great support group on line and I love the flexibility of the diet.  I also follow my cousin Amy - she is a    nutritionist
with  and a cross fit instructor - She has her own business Aim Nutrition Coaching - she is amazing - she posts great food ideas - and tons of inspirational things and you can do it remotely just like WW .   I would have joined her but I was already committed to Weight Watchers ..  I can't wait to get in ONDERLAND -  ( below 200)  and I can see it in the horizon..  We are putting a workout room in the extra bedroom ... Kevin and Paul will be finishing it  this weekend... I can't wait ..

Paul, Kevin, Amanda & I all went to dinner on Friday night.    We went to Checos  in Othello - It's really good Mexican food.  We had a lot of fun.. Afterwards we went to The Brunswick for drinks.  They have the best Bloody Mary's anywhere.   I ordered one only got about 1/4 down, I was so full from dinner  but it was the bomb.  I think the next time it will be  drinks and appetisers... But we had a blast.   The waitress whom seemed fairly new was a lot of fun.  She asked for Amanda's I.D. and I go well you better check mine then , *being the smart-ass that I am* -  She looked at it and with a very surprised look said "I never would have guessed you were that old"  - We started all laughing. She started to apologize - no apology necessary I will take it as a compliment *lol*.

Saturday the guys worked on the workout room .  Trim is up - mirror hung- inspirational pictures hung - shades hung - cabinet put together .. Looks amazing.. We have one more piece of equipment coming... then it will be complete..

While the guys finished the room - I took the 5 littles to the movie and we saw Paddington Bear 2.
Such a cute movie and we had so much fun!!   Love these kids. They each have their own personalities and I love it !!!   I was a bad Grandma - I taught them how to double buckle cuz my car isn't big enough... I taught them it's cheaper to buy Candy at the Dollar Store and sneak it in  ( I didn't.. taught them how to crank the music and sing...  We had a blast!!!

Well here's to another week!!!   Hope all is well with the rest of the world!!!
